Abstract

The current focus on Inclusive Education, which proposes to contemplate the diversity of all students in the system in order to be able to provide adequate responses to each one from the classroom and institutional proposals. The project proposes to implement the use of the technological application Kinems as a tool in the construction of heterogeneous pedagogical contexts conceived for a diverse education. This type of tool is used to encourage, through play and movement, the inclusion of children in the symbolic world, as well as to promote the development of social and communication skills, executive, cognitive, motor and sensory functions. In a first stage, the research will focus on high-functioning autism spectrum disorder, analysing the possibilities of technology transfer to special schools that work with children with this or other learning difficulties. Children with ASD, as well as other children who do not suffer from this disorder, have an affinity for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and their application is of great help to promote, through games, the inclusion of the child in the symbolic universe, taking as a main point the value of the game enunciated by Jean Piaget in his Structuralist Theory. The implementation of Kinems is proposed as it offers natural modalities of user interaction and seems to be very beneficial for the population with the aforementioned disorder at early ages due to the combination of physical activities with cognitive training tasks.
