Abstract

This article proposes good practices guide for improving virtual courses, raised after the emergency course caused by COVID-19. Understanding that it is not distance learning where students sign up to study under that modality and teachers are willing and have the necessary resources to explain in this modality. However, we highlight the way in which teachers from different universities have had from the start the predisposition to obtain resources, quickly learn to use
platforms that they did not know, prepare content, etc. This motivates us to reflexively analyze the successes and failures that have occurred in different university subjects, generating a Good Practice Guide that was the result of personal experience, colleagues’ experiences collected in other subjects and even from difficulties raised by our students in surveys carried out during
courses. These experiences are framed in three universities, one of them of private management
and the rest of public management. We believe that the guidelines presented in this article will improve the quality of the teaching-learning process in this virtual emergency modality
